Camping in these dunes has afforded me the chance to take the time to relish all they have to offer. Although the sunsets here are among the most breathtaking I’ve had the chance to witness, it’s the sunrises that I’ll keep coming back for. It’s something about getting up early; scrambling up and down the sides of dunes; walking out as far as I can in search of pristine, unmarked stretches; and being surrounded by nothing but the stars as the sunlight slowly creeps up on the horizon. This process is meditational for me. The photos are the end result.
